Damn. Did it really happen again? The bitter and excrusiating journey to the New England Patriots fourth Super Bowl trophy sadly will live to see another year. The Ravens came, saw and conquered and we had to hear Terrell Suggs talk so much shit and their was nothing we could say back. The nine point favorite Pats got there asses kicked on their home turf for the first time in their franchise history.

  You need some good luck in these games to win and the Pats had little of it. Aqib Talib getting injured early in the game was a major back breaker. Not one Ravens receiver had a reception while he was in the game. Brady's first interception was just an unlucky bounce in the game of Football. However their red zone offense had nothing to do with luck. It was just purely pathetic. They had four trips which easily could have resulted in touchdowns in the red zone and only converted one. They had no trouble moving the ball down the field but they could just not seal the deal. Ray Lewis has a brilliant football mind and him and his defense stifled another brilliant mind in Brady.

  I couldn't help but noticing how much more physical Baltimore's recievers were. Boldin embarrassed McCourty on one of his two touchdowns and basically just fought him off for the grab. Torrey Smith had a circus show himself as he went airborne numerous times for pivotal receptions. These guys are pure athletes and more importantly find a way to make a play in crucial moments. Hear that Welker? Listen Wes is very important to New England but he has an uncanny ability to drop the ball in the biggest moments of his career. Brandon Llyod played pretty good but again no touchdown receptions and we truly did miss Gronk. Don't be surprised if the Pats go after a physical home run kind of receiver in the offseason.

 As Bill Bilichick said, at this time of year it's either euphoria or a crash landing. And oh boy it was a crash landing indeed. I hope they re-sign Talib, even though I have a feeling they'll be stingy and not give him the money he deserves due to his poor track record off the field. Either way, they need to do something because I've seen to many crash landings over the last ten years.
